"Have you heard about "Lefthander's Day"?" --- One day I received an E-mail from Toshihiro Fukai, the head of Hidari-kiki Network New York Branch, and this elicited the whole following events. In fact, I had already known about that day. Moreover, I knew the one who manifested this idea chose his own birthday as the date of celebration (that is August 13.)

Mr. Fukai also wrote:"Isn't it fan if we (Hidari-kiki Network) contact with him or her ("Left-Hander's Club of Ireland", I noticed) and plan anything to celebrate that day altogether?' --- Why not?

Let me pose you a question : don't you think this event will be worthy for planning and enjoying it? I hope your answer is "Yes."
The fact is to execute this project, it requires number of lefthanders' present from its stage of planning session. Otherwise, it is obvious that any wish will never be true. Therefore, I have asked for cooperation and advisory to push the plan forward.

First of all, we intend to increase the domestic popularity of this date as our primary object. It would be splendid if we could perform an international convention in association with promoting the Lefthander's Day as global-holiday. Although it is our supreme task, we realize that would be too much from the present stage. (Honestly speaking, I think that the world-wide event utilizing Internet may bring some kind of remarkable consequence for raising domestic recognition.)

At last, as Mr. Fukai also mentioned, our principle is to integrate "the realization of the society at Lefthander's ease," not the short-lived explosive event. To conduct this project as a long range plan, I think further continuation in very simple way would allow to give it a lengthy lifespan, henceforth, a fruitful success. Therefore, this phrase might cause one misleading about myself, but I would like to attend to this project with "take it easy" stance delightly ;-).
